Narmada Park is one of the largest parks on the island of Lombok. The location of this Narmada is in West Lombok regency, precisely in Lemabuak Village, District Narmada. The word “Narmada” is derived from the name of the Ganges river in India, where it has springs or a source of life. The park was founded in 1727 for a resting place and worship of kings in the dry season. This place is also often used place of ceremony for Hindus. The original inhabitants of Lombok Island (those who are Hindus) performed the Pujawali Ceremony by climbing Mount Rinjani and giving offerings to the gods at the top of Mount Rinjani.
